Today’s Vernacular is more of a surveillance term, but seeing as how security and computer hacking are almost synonymous, I thought it would be fitting.
Mushroom (n.): a term used to describe a person behind surveillance cameras of a building,due to the dark and cold rooms where the monitors for the cameras are kept.
